What is that noise?

~the large black creature laid its head against her chest as her heart raced.It listened to the fast thumps of her heart,its tail swished side to side and its breath was hot.It did not look directly at her,but it blinked and it's snake like eyes stayed still.It spoke with a gruff hiss like voice as it asked four words as it stayed there listening."What is that noise?"
